INTRODUCING ALAN:- Alan trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and began his career at the Connaught Theatre, Worthing, where he first worked with Marcus Martin. In London his extensive work at the National Theatre includes A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Jumpers, and Waiting For Godot. Further London theatre work includes the premiere production of Blood Brothers, with Barbara Dickson. Innumerable television appearances include Holby City, The Bill, Silent Witness, Midsomer Murders, Eastenders, Prime Suspect and Poldark. Films include: Memento Mori, Another Life, Spirit, Rough Cut and Who Dares Wins. He is married to Gwyneth Powell and they have lived in Hurstpierpoint for over 30 years. | INTRODUCING MARCUS:- Marcus was born in Worthing and studied Piano and Organ at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has a particular affinity with Light Music and Music Theatre and is an experienced Musical Director for professional Pantomines, Summer Shows, Variety, Revue, Cabaret shows and stage musicals including the UK stage premiere of Lerner and Lowe's 'Gigi'. As accompanist he has appeared at the Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, St John's Smith Square and Edinburgh Festival Fringe and many concert venues in the South of England. He has composed original scores for 'The Water Babies' 'Peter Pan' and 'Hollywood Dreams' and has many choral arrangements published by SMP |
